Verizon international rates

What you pay instead
Rates from $0.03 a minute with no monthly fee and no carrier account. 129 of our 482 published bands cost less than the $0.49 floor Verizon quotes for paying per minute, and 473 of 482 cost less than the $4.00 a minute AT&T charges to use your own phone abroad.
Every one of them is published before you sign up, and the call places from a browser on any machine. None of the options above works unless you are that carrier’s customer holding that carrier’s phone.
AT&T’s $4.00 is their pay-per-use rate, which is the worst case; a travel pass costs far less. And if you call one country every day, a carrier plan may well beat us on that corridor. The Verizon page says where.
