What 0844 numbers are, and who uses them
Older customer service lines, booking lines, some utilities and a long tail of businesses that have not migrated to 03. Many organisations have moved off these ranges, so an 0845 on an old letter often has a newer 03 equivalent.

Worth knowing before you rely on it
