A service line is a number a company publishes for customer service rather than one tied to a city. Banks, airlines and utilities use them, and the networks charge us differently for them, so they are priced on their own row.
Per minute in USD, from a US caller ID. Part of a minute counts as a minute. Emergency numbers cannot be dialled. Rates last changed 8 October 2026.
Not sure which of these your number is? Check the number and we read the band off its digits.

How to dial Singapore
Singapore numbers are dialled as +65 followed by the national number, exactly as written.
Singapore has no area codes and no trunk prefix. Eight digits after the country code.
A number written in Singapore as 8123 XXXX is dialled from abroad as +65 8123 XXXX.
From this tab there is no exit code and no carrier: type it starting +65 and the band is read off the digits, so the price is for that exact number.
Dialling it from an ordinary phone instead
Dial the exit code for where you are standing, then 65, then the number.

03Before you rely on it
Three things that are true on every call
- The keypad stays live after it connects. Press 1 for English, key in an account number, enter a reference.
- Hold is billed per minute like any other minute. The running cost sits on screen while you wait.
- By default, the recipient sees an Airlophone number. Need them to recognise yours? Set up Verified Caller ID with a number you own. The dialer confirms whether it is available for the route before you call. Verify your number. Rent a number if you also need callbacks.
04Questions
Common questions
How much does it cost to call Singapore?
Basic calls to Singapore start at $0.07/min for service line. From a US caller ID: landline $0.15/min, mobile $0.22/min, service line from $0.07/min. Professional adds $0.02/min to paid calls, whether recording is on or off. Connected calls are billed per minute, with part of a minute counting as a full minute. Enter the number to see its exact price before calling.
What is the country code for Singapore?
The international dialling code for Singapore is +65. On Airlophone you can type the full international number starting with +65, or pick Singapore from the country list and enter the national number.
How do I call Singapore from the US?
From a US or Canadian phone, dial 011, then 65, then the Singapore number. From the UK, Ireland and most of Europe the exit code is 00 instead, and from Australia it is 0011. Singapore has no area codes and no trunk prefix. Eight digits after the country code. For example, a number written in Singapore as 8123 XXXX is dialled from the US as 011 65 8123 XXXX. On Airlophone there is no exit code at all: the call is placed from a browser tab, so you type the number starting with +65 and the price for that exact number appears before anything dials.
Why do some Singapore numbers cost more than others?
Singapore numbers are not all priced the same, because the networks that terminate them do not cost the same. On our published card the dearest band runs about 3.1 times the cheapest, $0.22 against $0.07 per minute. Services that ask you to choose "mobile or landline" for a foreign number quote one of those two prices and are simply wrong when the guess is wrong. Airlophone resolves the band from the number itself and shows the price before you dial.
Do I need an app or a SIM card to call Singapore?
No. Airlophone runs in a browser tab, so there is nothing to install and no SIM to buy. The person you call needs nothing either: the call arrives on the ordinary phone network, so their phone simply rings, whether it is a landline or a mobile and whether or not they have internet.
